Hello from Appi,

Cloudy skies currently and a rather balmy 3 degrees with very light winds. The dreaded four letter word is in the forecast for this afternoon. Yes it may rain! We’re hoping it doesn’t arrive before the temperatures start dropping this afternoon. If we’re lucky enough the falling temperatures may bring us a fair amount of snow this afternoon and into this evening.

Fortunately the temperatures are supposed to stay in the negative area for the rest of the week and into the weekend with an occasional snow flurry. Things are warming up as April approaches but we’ve still got a great base to make sure everyone heading out can take full advantage of the mountain. All runs remain open and are in good shape. The long holiday weekend is over so you can also expect a relatively quite mountain to play on too. Given the warm temperatures at the base you can probably be assured of some slushy conditions but that's to be anticipated.
