Morning from Hakuba.

It was a beauty of a day yesterday of course. Warming up in the afternoon more than we'd like, but early tracks were good.

This morning there's lots of cloud around the mountains and indeed it looks like snow is falling in places. I wouldn't expect much from it today though, most of the forecasts either have us down for a sunny day (?!) or sun with light snow showers at times. A high of around 7 degrees

Snow is forecast for tomorrow and into Sunday as well - though don't be surprised if we get some rain before the snow down in the village as temperatures once again struggle to remain low. Decent snowfall forecast for the mountains again for around Tuesday.

It looks like the Gondola and top lift at Tsugaike Kogen are not moving at the start of the day. Otherwise resorts open as planned.

So another weekend just in front of us and again uncertain weather and snow conditions.
