The last day of February was a beauty weather-wise with clear blue skies right through the day.

This morning the sun is out and there's lots of blue sky once again though some thin cloud around as well. Forecast to be another sunny day and for temperatures down at base to rise to around +6C later on so another mild one too (after a cold overnight and chilly early morning).

I would expect some icy conditions early on before the sun gets to work and softening things up.

How about some fresh snow for early March though? Fingers crossed by the end of tomorrow though it might not be cold enough for it to be snow at base (good chance of rain according to some forecasts) but hopefully it'll be snowing top to base on Friday as temperatures drop again.

LATE SEASON REPORTING
The individual Now reports will continue in each area until the season in that place closes - some will continue daily, some will become less than daily once we get into April.

Once the season has finished everywhere, we will be adding a general season wrap up to each of the reports, where we will also answer questions and comments that we regularly get sent. Some do keep on coming back! The end of season message will be up at the end of Golden Week in early May.

Thank you for reading.
