Good morning from a sunny and blue sky Hakuba.

By lunchtime yesterday the clear up was well underway and we enjoyed an afternoon of lovely weather - less cloud as the evening approached - along with a bit of snow on the upper slopes that had fallen earlier. Fairly strong winds at times but I found some really good areas of fresh snow to play in... it was a good day.

This morning it's (almost totally) clear skies and sunshine.

Quite chilly too early on, but destined to warm up to around 7C here in the village. We're expecting sunshine tomorrow morning too, so it should be a weekend of calm and fine weather.

Keeping an eye on the forecast, looking good for fresh snow from Monday and during the week.
