There actually was a lot of good snow out in the backcountry yesterday; it was getting heavy, it was getting sunburned, it put on the sudden brakes in sunny spots down low, but that March powder continued to provide. It's probably a little too warm out there today for the there to be great conditions - but if the views are anything like they were yesterday, it's a good day just to be up in the hills.

Down lower on the slopes, people seemed to be enjoying some fun early spring skiing. Probably a little sticky here and there, but sun and skiing is fun...

Now, did I really say that? Snow is ahead, and that's what we really want. Blowing snow. Get comfy in our helmet and goggles, zip everything up and plow through the pounding snow. It could still happen, and that's what we want!
