Sunny, clear skies
Hello and good morning from Nozawa.
It's a fantastic morning here, with clear skies and the sun shining down on us. It was mild overnight - I actually had my window open! - and today we can expect things to warm up to around 20C at village level. Should be fairly warm higher up too, so hopefully a real feel-good day in store.
Sunshine is on the forecast tomorrow too with perhaps some rain moving in before we get to Tuesday.
The top Yamabiko area has today dropped to just under 3m. Still, that's a whole lot of snow for the middle of April.
Three weeks left!
You can still ski or snowboard back down close to the Hikage base area - from where you can get on a shuttle bus back over to the base of the Nagasaka Gondola if you want to get back up top.

Overcast but brightening and sun forecast
Good morning to you all.
I hope some of you enjoyed the fine weather yesterday as I did. Well, for a few hours in the afternoon. I must admit, I'm getting to the stage where I'll probably only make it out a few more times now. That lie-in on May 8th is also something I'm dreaming of!
OK back to this morning.
Sunny skies were forecast for today - and they still are. But it has been rather overcast a bit dull so far, though it does look like it's starting to getting brighter. So hopefully there'll be a quick clear up.
Fine conditions are forecast for tomorrow too.
That's about it folks for this morning.

Fair blue skies
Good morning from Grandeco.
There are beautiful blue skies around the Bandai region this morning.
The sun is quite strong from the early morning, so don't forget to protect your eyes.
Snow conditions are soft, a bit like sherbet.
The separated beginners area and the snow adventure park will close from tomorrow but don't worry, there's still lots of snow around.
It will be raining tomorrow afternoon if the forecast is correct, and unfortunately there's no snow on the forecast either. Minimise rain and fine weather is what we hope for now.
Have a fun Sunday wherever you are.
