Good morning from Zao.

Apart from the Ropeways, we're down to just a few lifts operating now - details below - basically the Chuo and Utopia pairs. And you can still ski down from the top of the Zao Ropeway.

Patches of ground starting to show through now on lower course areas and the snow getting rather dirty looking. Not the best of looks to be sure! But still a fair amount of snow on the open upper areas yet.

Looks like the forecast has a fair bit of rain for the coming week - and the chance of some snow in there too which would be interesting! Keep an eye on the forecast.

And I'll be back before the weekend again.
