Getting to Matsu House
Rusutsu is located to the south east of Mt Yotei in the Shiribeshi region of western Hokkaido. The nearest train stations are Niseko (23km) and Kutchan (32km). To get to Rusutsu from Niseko Station, take Prefecture Road 66. To get to Rusutsu from the Kutchan area, take Route 276. The Route 230 road goes through the village. The nearest exit on the Hokkaido Expressway is Abuta Toyako IC, 31km to the south-west of Rusutsu.

Resort Liner operates only in winter between Sapporo City and Rusutsu, and New Chitose Airport and Rusutsu. A reservation can be done online (English page available).
Chuo bus operates between New Chitose Airport and Rusutsu (reservations are available only over the phone).
There are also buses to/from Kutchan and Lake Toya.
