The no-smoking lodge was hand built by the owner, with the assistance of family and friends, in 1983. It is set in the beautiful, forest covered mountains of Hakuba and offers a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere for its guests.
The lodge has eight rooms. Each room has a loft with beds on the first floor and futons in the loft.
Hot springs The lodge features on outdoor hot spring bath which is set in the garden. The water is renowned for it's skin healing qualities. The onsen is offered as a private bath and reservations are required. Please ask for details.
Bathrooms: We have two large luxurious baths inside the lodge. One bathroom has a large window that looks out to the forest.
Games Room: There is a large reading and games room with plenty of activities available.

Getting to Lodge Azekura Sanso
Hakuba village is located in the north western region of Nagano Prefecture and is about an hour road journey from central Nagano City and Nagano Station. The local Oito train line and Route 148 road both run through the village.
