Damn good place for boarders, second time here and place has been great both times.

It's a fair way from the IC so not too many on the slopes, we spent most of our time up the top of the hill and had the place virtually to ourselves the whole time (and this was on a Saturday!!).

Nango is my local park... boasts awesome powder after a big drop. A wicked board park with 3 halfpipes and a practice pipe, tabletops, rail slides... u name it, we got it! No need for artificial snow cos MinamiAizu is snow heaven.

Friendly staff, oishii food and nothing better than boarding under bluebird skies!!

Aizu Kogen Nango review by Mr Joban
Best Big Air, No people place going in Japan, HANDS DOWN. Pipe and Kickers are shaped to perfection!

Powder days offer MASSIVE AIR to be had if you know where to go. Ski Partrol is your friend. Lift Man /Woman /Grandpa will tell you hello every time.

Nothing extra fancy about this place.

Bottom Line - underground to the bone.
