Moya Hills is located to the south of Aomori city centre in Aomori Prefecture. It is the closest ski hill to central Aomori. Moya Hills has one quad lift, two pair lifts and two short rope-tows.
Aomori Prefecture is the northernmost prefecture on the main island of Honshu and borders Akita Prefecture and Iwate Prefecture to the south. Hokkaido is to the north across the Tsugaru Strait. There are a number of ski hills located across Aomori Prefecture, mostly small in scale. The capital, Aomori city, is located in the central area by the shores of Mutsu Bay and to the north of the Hakkoda mountains.

Moya Hills is just over 8km from the Aomori Chuo IC exit of the Aomori Expressway.
From the Aomori Chuo IC exit, turn left onto Route 7 and after another 1km turn right onto Route 103 to head south. Follow Route 103 for 8km until reaching the sign for Moya Hills on the left side. Turn left to head to the resort base.
There are a number of car parks at the base of Moya Hills.
