Wakasugi Kogen Oya is a small ski hill located to the south west of central Yabu city in Hyogo Prefecture.

Hyogo Prefecture is located in the Kansai region of western Japan. It stretches the width of the country and has a coastline both on the Sea of Japan to the north and on the Seto Inland Sea to the south. Most of the ski and snowboard resorts in Hyogo Prefecture are located in the northern region of the Prefecture.

Wakasugi Kogen Oya is officially open from 8am until 5pm (though the lifts actually operate from 8:15am until 4:50pm).

The Number 1 lift operates only on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays.

There is no nighta at this ski hill.

Ladies Day is every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (excluding 29th, 30th, 31st December 2016 and 11th February 2017). On those days a 1 day ticket for ladies is 1,000 yen.

Wakasugi Kogen Oya is about 26km from the Yokahyonosen IC exit of the Bantan Renraku Road.

Approach the ski hill using Route 29 and then Prefecture Road 48.
There is parking for about 500 vehicles close to the base area. Parking is free on weekdays and 1,000 yen on weekends and holidays.

A 'parking season ticket' is available and costs 10,000 yen.
