Fujimi Kogen is located on the south-western slopes of Mt Nishidake in Fujimi town in the eastern region of Nagano Prefecture. This ski hill boasts one of the largest Kids Parks in Nagano Prefecture. Snowboarding is allowed during nighta but apart from that Fujimi Kogen is a skiers-only resort.
Nagano Prefecture is located in the Chubu region of the main island of Honshu. Most of the Northern Alps, Central Alps and Southern Alps are located within Nagano (along with neighbouring prefectures). Nagano has the second highest number of ski and snowboard resorts in all of Japan and they are spread around the whole prefecture. Nagano city and many of the major ski resorts are located in the northern region.

Fujimi Kogen is about 6km from the Kobuchisawa IC on the Chuo Expressway.
From the Kobuchisawa IC exit, turn right on Prefecture Road 11 and after 3km turn left. The Road name changes to Prefecture Road 484. Fujimi Kogen is off this road on the right hand side.
