Daisen White Resort is located in Daisen town to the south west of Yonago city in Tottori Prefecture. It is on the northern slopes of Mt Daisen - a volcanic mountain with an elevation of over 1700m, making it the highest in the Chugoku region. The resort has four main areas - Kokusai, Uenohara, Nakanohara and Gouenzan. The resort has been operating since 1956 and today has four main areas. There are three other separate ski hills on the slopes of Mt Daisen - Daisen Masumizu Kogen, Oku Daizen and Kagamiganaru.
Tottori Prefecture is located in the Chugoku region of western Japan. There are a number of ski and snowboard resorts in the Tottori, with most gathered around Mt Daisen in the western region of the prefecture.

The 'Takapiyo Land' Kids Park is located in the Gouenzan area and costs 500 yen to enter and use the moving belt and facilities. Sledge and other items for playing in the snow are available to rent at no extra cost. The facility is usually from 10am until 4pm.
The DK Park is a slopestyle park area located in the Kokusai Area by the K1 pair lift.

Getting to Daisen White Resort
By public transport
12.8km from Hoki Mizoguchi Station on the Hakubi line
20.9km from Yonago Station on the Sanin Honsen line
Hoki Mizoguchi Station on the Hakubi line is about 13km away.
A shuttle bus is available from the outlying car parks, but apparently not from a local station.

Daisen White World is located to the east of Yonago city centre on the slopes of Mt Daisen.
From the city take Prefecture Road 24 eastwards towards the mountain - the resort can be found just off this road.
There are a few car parks available close to the resort and cost either 1000 yen or 1500 yen (covered car park). There is a special weekday 'half price off' charge at the time of writing this. Some of them require a shuttle bus trip to get to the lifts.
At the time of writing (mid May), almost all ski resorts in Japan have closed for the 2016-2017 season.
