Daisen Masumizu Kogen is located in Houki town to the south west of Yonago city in Tottori Prefecture. It is on the western slopes of Mt Daisen - a volcanic mountain with an elevation of over 1700m, making it the highest in the Chugoku region. There are three other separate ski hills on the slopes of Mt Daisen - Daisen White Resort, Oku Daizen and Kagamiganaru.
Tottori Prefecture is located in the Chugoku region of western Japan. There are a number of ski and snowboard resorts in the Tottori, with most gathered around Mt Daisen in the western region of the prefecture.
