Good morning from Appi.

It's always nice to wake up to some new snow even if it only was 5cm. Right now it's still snowing a little with cloudy skies and a base temperature of -8 with light easterly winds.

Today should be cloudy most of the day and hopefully the clouds should deposit another 6cm as welcome snowfall. The clouds should clear out by early evening and into tomorrow with temperatures also rising somewhat to the -6 range and increasing even further for Thursday to the -4 range.

The added snowfall overnight will help the runs somewhat but you can expect icy conditions under the new snow. Most runs are open with both gondolas running too. The good news for the day is the opening of one of Mt. Nishi Mori runs. It's going to be a fun day up there today with a decent base and not too much traffic. Make sure you're on the first lift for some good powder that's been untouched till today.

---

Currently planned operating lifts:

- Appi Gondola
- Sailer Gondola
- Central Number 1 quad
- Number 2 lift A
- Number 3 lift B
- Number 3 lift C
- Number 4 lift
- Sailer Number 2
- Vista quad
