I hope all the Chinese visitors coming to Appi this week have a great week and a very prosperous new year ahead.

Expect bright blue skies most of the day with ample opportunity to take some great vista shots of the mountain too.

Ok now that over back to the hum drum of the weather and snow, or lack thereof. Yesterday was just as predicted with partly cloudy skies, light snow showers all day. The temperature fell as planned making it a little cold on the mountain if you were without layers.

Today we’re expecting blue skies in the morning with the clouds rolling in late afternoon giving us a dusting of snow. Winds will be moderate in strength with the temperature at the top of -11 it’s going to feel more like -20. There is good news from the crystal ball of forecasting. Tuesday is promising to bring 14cm of snow. Please no laughing either it may just happen this time !! The temperatures are going to rise tomorrow to the -5 range with more clouds creeping in to the area. Overall we should be in for a good week ahead, maybe this Chinese New Year thing is bringing good luck after all.
