Good morning.

Another bluebird day here at Appi with bright sunny skies and a base temperature of -5. The winds are very light and variable making it a lovely day to get out there and have a little fun. Although the runs may be a little icy again this morning any day spent on the mountain is a day not spent wishing you were on it.

Yesterdays predicted snowfall, in typical fashion this year, did not arrive. It ended up being a nice overall day but we would have preferred a little snowfall with sunny skies, relatively warm temperatures and very light winds.

We will see a steady rise in temperatures over the next couple of days with the winds picking up tomorrow night and into Wednesday. The bad news here is that the temperature increase will continue into the weekend and may hit +6 bringing with it……..yes you guessed…….rain. It’s still 5 days away so keep your fingers crossed it will stay away.

Get out there while the going is good and as always on days like today don’t forget the sunscreen.
