It's another beautiful morning here in Hakuba with clear bright blue skies all round and the sun out from early on. Early runs up there are going to be fantastic this morning and I'm jealous of the folk already up there!

No new snow this morning overnight. Hakuba 47 reporting 3cm of snowfall on the mountain before the end of the day yesterday (and none overnight), but that's the only number I can get from places this morning.

Cold start but the sun will warm things up today so expect snow conditions to change during the day. High of around +4 forecast for village base areas later on in the day.

Today should be a feel good day, but we I think we'll all feel better with a great big stonking large delivery of fresh powder to put some big grins on faces. As we patiently (or not) wait, how much longer? I'm hoping from tomorrow.

In the meantime, I think it's time to get out and enjoy what we have today.

Have a great Saturday and see you tomorrow.
