What a great day yesterday was, definitely the 'deepest' of the season.

No new snow being reported from around the resorts this morning but it's a calmer and clearer morning so there should be a lot of people wanting to get up there early this morning and enjoy the conditions. Blue skies and sunshine and hardly a hint of a cloud to be seen.

Tomorrow also looks like it should be clear and sunny - and warmer too perhaps temperatures rising in the village to around 8 degrees.

And then we get to the weekend - and the forecast still says rain and warmth. Which is really just not on is it. Spoilsport weather. Let's just keep on hoping that the forecast will be wrong (just like it has been this season quite a lot).

We should be back to snowfall come Monday though so we just have to get through the weekend with fingers crossed!

For now though it should be an excellent day to be out on the slopes. Hope you can enjoy it. Today is a national holiday (National Foundation Day) so you should expect more people around than a normal weekday though perhaps not like a weekend... always difficult to know on a day like this.
