Hello, and it's another excellent mid-season morning here in Hakuba. Oh hold on, it's mid-March!? << Feels like that at the moment.

It's still snowing.

By tomorrow morning though it should have eased off and starting Sunday it is going to start getting warmer again and likely feel all spring-like once again. Some warm conditions expected next week - double digit territory.

For now though, conditions are excellent and should be for the next few. Not going out to make the most of it if you can would be a crime!

March... what a funny old month it can be!

Hakuba Goryu:
Reporting 20cm of new snowfall at Alps Daira; 3cm on lower areas.
