Hakuba has been hit with a blast of snow and conditions everywhere have turned to full on Winter overnight. Though lower runs are fresh snow on top of grass there is enough to ski top to bottom, Happo carparks are full and everyone who can be is out making the most of it.

This snowfall is what we need to get things into shape pre-Xmas and with snow continuing to fall this can be called the first real snowy day of the season.

Skifields are reporting an additional 10ish centimeters of snow on the runs after grooming and with around 20cms in the valley we probably say 40-60 cms or more at the top of the mountain. If you didn't make it out today tomorrow will be decent as well as these pockets of snow aren't going anywhere quick.
