Update:

Nothing too exciting in Hakuba today...some wet heavy snow fell in the valley which may have been good snow at elevation but no-one was up for first lines; maybe the sound of dripping in the morning does little to enthuse. Runs were nicely groomed this morning but started getting slushy in the PM at the base...perfect for snowballs but not the best for faceshots of the more fun variety.

Pretty warm temperatures all round with the mercury pushing above zero everyday. Still have some snow on the forecast; fingers crossed its light and fluffy all the way to the valley!
