Morning to you all from Hakuba.

It was a cold day yesterday and cold overnight too. Oh yes, and cold this morning as well! Brrrrr, indeed.

Nice light snow conditions out there on the slopes and (where I was anyway, top of Goryu) and not that many people either.

This morning there's no new cm of snow to report to you from here at base and either nothing or just a bit from the resorts as well.

Light snow has been falling early on this morning but it is expected to clear up during the day and some forecasts even tell us to expect sunshine. There's actually just a bit of sun peeking through some cloud in some places in the valley now...

For the most part clearer skies are what we'll probably have over the next few days so it should be a fantastic time to be on the slopes. It's going to get a bit warmer especially around Friday and maybe Sunday too, we need to keep an eye on what's going on there.

But anyway, fine conditions and I hope you can get to enjoy them.
