Early on the sun is out and we have clear blue skies all around. Just perfect for the start of GW. It's already above 15C and we can expect to warm up to mid-20's this afternoon. People have been arriving early this morning and the resort already pretty lively out there, though if you are coming to Hakuba today no doubt you are already up there sliding on the snow. Have fun!

Similar weather conditions forecast for tomorrow, perhaps a bit more cloud on Monday. But generally fine and warm.

A few more lifts open now for this last stretch - on the upper slopes of Goryu and also over at Happo.

Next report coming your way on Tuesday, enjoy the first bit of Golden Week!
