The rain did indeed ease off and we were left with blue skies and sunny conditions in the afternoon here in Hakuba.

This morning the sun is with us once again, a bit hazy looking over to the east; clearer blue skies over the Hakuba peaks.

As was forecast today is going to be warm up to 15C; tomorrow warmer still.

This is interesting though (and I was just reading similar on a few other Now reports) but on Sunday while heavy rain is forecast, it might be snowing on those upper slopes.
