No new snowfall to report from Hakuba this morning as conditions change once again. After the poor visibility of yesterday - and some pretty wild stormy like weather conditions at times - it's a stunner here this morning with lovely clear blue skies all around and a fantastic contrast of the blue skies with the white snow covered mountains. A cold overnight and start earlier on but about +5 degress in the village at 11am and destined to get a bit warmer still.... temperature will probably hit double digits tomorrow.

BUT. After that, moderate to heavy snow is still on the cards for Saturday along with a drop in temperatures and a return to winter like conditions. More snow possible next week as well, so it doesn't look like April is signalling an end to snowfall. And we of course like it that way.

We'll post some updated information regarding planned resort spring operations at resorts around Hakuba tomorrow.

Goryu reporting 3cm of new snowfall this morning. More stuff from yesterday than overnight I think! All lifts apart from No2 and No4 pairs operating.

47 reporting no new snowfall this morning. All lifts apart from Line D operating.
