Weather is playing havoc again with our spring snow! This time in the form of H20, currently it raining "neko's and inu's". And as the temperature is quite warm the rain is most likey right to the top. Might be wet flakes/hail up at higher elevations. Ony those hardened souls will be hitting the slopes today with full waterproof garb.

Avalanche danger is Considerable.

Things are definately sliding out there and will continue to slide tomorrow and over the week end as the new snow is over riding a rain crust that it is not bonding well to. Be very careful in steep terrain as it will be easy to set off slides in the surface layer on slopes over 30 degrees. Greater caution will be needed as temperatures warm over the weekend and the possibility of natural avalanches increases. Be careful not to trigger a slide above others that are on slopes below you.
