Slightly overcast skies today mean that the snow will not soften up too fast and should allow for fast sliding on and off the piste today. The Hakuba 47 and Tsugaike jump parks have been getting some great reviews lately and there is only 1 week left to enjoy them so get out for some warm weather jammin' in the parks or enjoy the well groomed cruisers on Goryu, Hakuba 47, Happo and Tsugaike. Goyu and Hakuba 47 still have skiing out to the bottom!
The Back country was great yesterday and the Evergreen team and friends got out to bag one of the more spectacular chutes in the Hakuba area off of Korenge Dake. A sweet line that had to be negotiated and navigated with caution as the snow from last week is still unstable, quite heavy and is sliding on steeper slopes and as it does it gains more snow and speed. So do be carefull out there if you do venture out of the resorts.

Take greater precaution on steep slopes where the snow from last week has still not slid. Intense solar radiation will also warm up the surface layers and allow for wet loose slides again in steeper terain. (30 degree + slopes)
