It is much more of a cloudy start to the day today, but quite bright with it. There's some blue sky just about visible over the village but cloudy and grey over the mountains. No new snow to report. As forecast, it's a mild start to the day and it might reach about 10 degrees this afternoon.

Tomorrow? We are still expecting snow higher up but more likely to be rain in the village it seems. Might be strong winds too.

Look for more snowfall around Tuesday into Wednesday as well, according to the forecast.

This coming weekend is the last weekend for a few resorts around town. We'll basically be left with Happo, Goryu, 47 and Tsugaike come Monday, but as always we can expect to still be skiing and snowboarding come Golden Week in May. Operations will gradually become more limited during April as the snow starts getting thin on the ground lower down, but for now we still have a lot of snow out there - so there surely won't be any worries about reaching that GW holidays.

No new snowfall at Goryu. There's a competition on today over at Toomi meaning some course restructions. All lifts apart from No2 and No4 pairs operating.
