Did I say it might be raining today? Yes, well, it has been raining. Not the best news to start off the weekend, but we are hopeful that it will be snowing sooner than later, especially up on the mountains. And in fact it does seem to be coming down as snow higher up on the mountains while it remains around +3 degrees with rain in the village. The forecast is for the temperature to drop as we move on today and into tonight and snow likely to fall down to village level. A new cover for Sunday would be most welcome.

There are some strong and blowy winds around this morning as well and early on they have meant a few lifts opening late and now the top part of Happo remains closed because of the wind. Hopefully it might calm down somewhat this afternoon.

Upper areas of resorts are covered in cloud this morning so visibility is fair on lower slopes but less good higher up. With snow due, that's probably how it will remain for the day.
