After a night of light rain and some winds, things seem to be warming up this morning. Expect even more Spring-like conditions, as temperatures are forecast to pass ten degrees by lunchtime. Don't forget your sunscreen if you want to avoid those panda-eyed goggle tans we all love here in the Spring season.

Those in Hakuba may want to check out Sanosaka's Big Wednesday big air comp, which is kicking off around 10am.

**BACKCOUNTRY HAZARD**
Avalanche danger in the Alpine HIGH
Avalanche danger at Tree line CONSIDERABLE
Avalanche danger below Tree line HIGH

TRAVEL ADVISORY
Be very cautious on leeward slopes (generally east-facing) as these bowls are loaded from recent strong winds from the West. Be extremely cautious in steep convexing terrain around trees and rock outcrops. Multiple slab avalanches have slid naturally as well as human-triggered on these leeward slopes. 30+cm of recent wind-deposited storm snow is riding over last week's rain crust and has not been bonding well to this crust.

Be also very cautious of solar-radiated slopes especially with present warming temperatures. There are multiple large glide cracks on Southerly aspects that look as if they could go to ground any time now. It is very unwise to ride these slopes or ride below these slopes. Never rest or gather your group on or below these slopes.

Cornices are also large and heavy and will be becoming unstable with continued solar radiation. The slopes below these cornices are also unstable and should be avoided.
