Hope you got out to enjoy the weekend. It may well have been the last one with fresh snow conditions of the season - though obviously I would hope to be wrong on that count!

It was a beautiful day out yesterday with clear blue skies. Heavier snow conditions later in the day, or at least where I was, as the warmth did it's thing.

Overnight it was very warm in Hakuba and it looks like temperatures have even dropped since early morning - but it's still a warmish spring morning. Unfortunately, it's also raining which is a little unexpected. Anyway after that blast of winter conditions it does look like the coming week is going to be very much spring - temperatures are going to rise and we might see spring showers. Especially warm tomorrow and then wet on Wednesday. That's how the forecast stands now.

So perhaps we are on for full-on spring conditions from now. Come with that in mind and there is of course a lot of fun to be had. The Toomi lifts at Goryu are no longer moving and there is less of Happo open, but still a lot of area open. See below for the details.

Official snow depths and operations @ Monday 9th April 2012 AM:

Hakuba Goryu:
Gondola and Alps daira No1 and No3 lifts operating. The Toomi lifts are now closed but you can still ski down the courses.
