Good Morning and still time to say “Happy New Year”.

After a snowy night, Kiroro wakes up with a nice layer of 15 cm of fresh snow, delicately lighted by a shy sun trying to peek through the clouds.

I hope the sun will win the battle with the clouds: it will be needed to reduce the effect of -14 to -20 pretty coldness of the morning. The wind should not be too bad once you leave the top of the mountain.

So, my advice is double: wax accordingly for the very cold temperature and cover yourself with additional layer.

It might be good to use all those fun Japanese pocket and body warmer patches that you can find in any good convenience stores. Your fingers and your feet will thank you.

Other than that, Jan 2nd is traditionally one the busiest day on ski slopes... but this season, that should not be a problem.
