Much of the same here in Kiroro with steady snowfall throughout yesterday and overnight resulting in the accumulation of 18cm of fresh snow at my resort-base level measuring platform this morning.

Conditions as I publish are calm, with high cloud cover and very light snow falling. The forecast for the day is calling for light but constant snowfall and for winds to become calmer still. It remains very cold, dropping as low as -15 at the mountain peak. All lifts are operating, aside from Asari 1 and 2 which won’t run this season.

Looking ahead, tomorrow is expected to be calm and, for the first time in weeks, potentially snow free.

This is before another storm arrives on Thursday, which is predicted to deliver heavy snowfall on Thursday night, Friday and throughout the weekend.
