It was another great weekend on the slopes here in Kiroro, with plenty of great snow available both days.

Despite the lack of international tourists, nearly 2000 people took to the mountain yesterday creating a fun atmosphere and buzz.

This morning is calm and still, with light snow falling and 12cm of fresh on the measuring platform for the past 24 hours. Temperatures are comfortable and visibility is good. Altogether another great day of skiing here in Kiroro as we come towards the end of a cracking December.

Looking ahead to the rest of the week, forecasts call for more snow most days. But with that extremely cold temperatures, particularly on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Fingers crossed it’s not too unbearable for the NYE fireworks show the resort have scheduled for Thursday evening but I will certainly keep you posted!
