No disappointment this morning with a whopping 50-60cm of fresh snowfall reported by the Madarao resort early on. And it is still falling in a way that the number is going to increase quickly. There is lots of snow around the village area as well. Great to see the deep powder back. And it looks like snowy conditions will be with us for quite a few days.

The resort is not opening some runs and lifts today as they check and make sure all is ok with the new layers. No3A and No13 lifts aren't moving and it looks like the PowderWave, Usagi and RiverLine runs as well as the Free Ride Park are not open this morning.

It's a cold -7 degrees with not too strong a wind at all, but visibility is as you might expect limited out there.

Fantastic snow conditions though. Just be careful out there, it's the kind of weather when you can get lose your way very easily.
