Snow has been falling in Minakami from the early hours of this morning, with 5cm at the valley and around 15cm above 1500m. The snow will become wetter during the day as the system changes to a southerly front with a possible short spell of rain at the valley around midday. In the upper mountains the snow should continue through to midnight bringing around 30cm of new snow.

The next couple of days are looking sunny and warm with the next sow starting from Friday. The forecast is a bit uncertain but the snow will likely continue to fall until the following Wednesday.
