So much snow, and its still falling heavily. The wheels are falling off the wagon somewhat, forgot to send yesterday's report after writing the whole thing (has been added since).

Anyway, the snow quality is excellent but wind has been a factor.

Doesn't appear that's the case today though its often far less windy down in the valley of late compared to up top.

Tenjin opened yesterday at 10:30am and heard it was too much snow if you can believe it. I was at Hodaigi, awesome conditions but they couldn't run their top 2 lifts due to wind.

Hopefully today it's a different story. Forecast is for the snow to finish by Wednesday and they've been highlighting a blue bird tomorrow morning for a while but will believe it when I see it.

Today's car park number is an underestimate - was out yesterday and my guys had the car park clear by 6pm when I returned so the total is from 6pm.

Minakami Now ski lift operation notes:

Hard to know at this time of the day but the cat track wasn't open at Tenjin yesterday, they had to close the Takakura lift in the afternoon because of wind. Hodaigi didn't open their top lifts, Okutone was all open.
