Minakami saw some nice snowfalls Tuesday night and up around the Tenjin/Tanigawa area it was snowing most of yesterday too. The base however has stayed static as it came in with a lot of wind but there was 40cm of fresh on Tenjindaira yesterday.

Hodaigi is also looking good with more than enough snow. Okutone opened back up but things are still touch and go there and the mountain is looking a little bare in spots.

Big snow forecast for tonight and when heavy snow is forecast up here, it sometimes means 1m. We are about due so hopefully this comes through big time. It was a beautiful day here this morning and down in the valley its still clear but clouds have rolled in and hopefully this really kicks off.
