Light dusting of snow overnight with 5cm reported at the top of Tenjin and an insignificant amount on my car park. It was lightly snowing this morning but is cleared down the valley in Minakami town and is overcast up around Tenjin and Mt Tanigawa.

Snow quality yesterday was excellent and the mountain was pretty tracked by day end so last night's refresher will make a world of difference in the backcountry gullies. The mountain forecast is for snow showers all week, low temps and appears we might see some clear weather at some point Wednesday.
