It was a sunny Wednesday; rather see snow falling, but it was nice to have a little solar energy to clear off the roofs of the hanging remnants of the past storm cycles.

Feels and sounds like a train is going by when the chunks do come rumbling off the roofs; something fun to enjoy with city folks (who usually duck or get ready to evacuate).

A little crusty on the natural snow surface this morning, thanks to that sun. Not a real thick surface, though, and it breaks to reveal some nice snow still lingering on top. Could still be fun for the backcountry people, especially on shaded and north slopes. Onpiste is still good, and there isn't much competition for the lifts.
