The last day of spring skiing for a while? Man, its a year of extreme changes....

It's already in the double digits now, and the temperature is probably going to keep going up (the high here at the base was 16°C yesterday!). At least it's not raining, which was the original forecast. Let's watch as the freezing level comes down, it gets cold, and we get ready for some fresh new snow. Again (not that I mind, though). Hopefully we won't get an ice layer causing mischief for the backcountry people. Keep an eye on things before you go out this week!

It is hazy again; looks like we're getting a touch of Gobi Desert dust coming in with these southwest winds. Nice, brownish snow may result (come on, fresh new white stuff!).
