Welcome to the post-regular-season, and it's appropriately spring-like this morning to welcome it in.

I'm happy to say that, due to some unclear original reporting, all the resorts are still operating! Suginohara had Sunday as their last day on their website, but in fact they are operating a limited number of lifts until the 30th. Akakan is also basically all open, except the very bottom lift on the Champion side. Should be going, too — there's lots of snow out there, despite the season of ever-changing weather.

Today should be good, though, with a really warm sun and clear skies. You know I like blinding powder days the most, but it should be a lot of fun to just have a cruisy day at one of the resorts and work up that reverse-panda tan (brown faces, white around the eyes).
