It's a gray day out there as we enter the (mostly) last weekend for the resorts. I would say, it's a miserable, gray, misty, foggy pure lousy day to do anything except sip coffee in front of a roaring fire, but I want to keep things positive for the sake of my town and its lovely resorts. Not going to get me out there today, though.

One good word from Suginohara (which always seems to be the first to close things down when the wind blows or the season gets to the end of March): they will be opening up again on April 6 and 7. The bad news is that the No. 3 lift serving the top of the mountain will not be operating this weekend. Bad news for bump fans and backcountry people.
