It's kind of an undecided weather day in Myoko. Very light snow has fallen occasionally in the early morning; but then the sun has also come out from time to time.It could be the calm before the storm, as high winds are predicted to come in tonight. Snow is also on the ongoing forecast, so let's see what tomorrow brings.

The official snow reports are once again all over thee place; some are showing a slight increase, some of others have moved back to levels of a few days ago (how can they drop 25-30cm overnight?). Let's average and say there has been around 80cm on the ground, with some bare spots showing where there's heavy traffic on the slopes.

For your New Year sliding pleasure:

Night skiing at Seki (not sure how late, but it does say toshikoshi, so perhaps into the New Year?
