It could have been that mid-morning rain that got me off reporting.... But here I am at the end of the day, happy to report that the rain turned to snow, and that we might actually have a bit of powder for the last day for many of the ski areas. The day started pretty warm and wet, with some pretty heavy rain until about 11 am, then things got cooler, it turned to snow, and suddenly the mood lightened.

I'm not sure on all the ski areas after tomorrow, because we haven't received the official reports form the town for the past two days (well, they sent the emails, not the attachments). I'll know tomorrow, and I won't be leaving until I get the news up (and I plan to be up on the mountain tomorrow)!

Akakura Onsen: most lifts are running; night skiing has ended
Akakan: Sky Cable Gondola and Nos. 1 and 3 lifts are running

Seki Onsen: You can't stop with 580cm of snow on the ground
Myoko Ski Park: Open
Kyukamura: Open
Tangram No. 3 and No. 5 lifts open until April 1
Madarao: Open
