Nice conditions yesterday and a fair few people arriving at Mitsumata to make the most of it as well. The early birds are most definitely benefitting, and it is worth getting up there early to get the most out of the day. As if we need to be told that anyway! :)

OK so this morning. No new snow to report and lovely blue skies up above. It's going to be a fine and sunny day.

Here are the lifts that are moving from today until Friday:

Mitsumata Ropeway
Mitsumata No1 quad
Mitsumata No3 pair
Kagura Gondola
Kagura No1 quad
Kagura No4 pair

Courses open from today until Friday are:

Mitsumata Family course and Taikai, Gondola line.
Kagura main course, Technical course, Giant course, Panorama course and Gondola course

The Tashiro Ropeway should be open from next Saturday along with the Naeba resort - though the Dragondola will not be opening next week so they will not be connected right from the start. With the snow up there I doubt there will be any problems at all with those planned openings.

Tomorrow it might actually be raining in lower areas and very likely in town, but fingers crossed it will be snow up top. After things getting a bit warmer today, the temperatures should start to dip again later on tomorrow and stay cold into the weekend.

Official resort snow depth:
Kagura - 130cm

Planned opening dates:
Kagura (Tashiro) on December 8th
Naeba on December 8th
