Good morning from Naeba everybody.

Well yesterday turned out to be a bit better snow wise than the weather forecast predicted. It's hard to tell exactly how much snow fell during the day but it snowed pretty hard most of the time.

Although the snow did take a bit of a break overnight we've had a good 2cm fall since roughly 06:00 this morning and still falling now. Conditions therefore should be fresh but not overly powdery.

Unfortunately the weather forecast is not looking incredible for this week. Whilst there should be snow until Wednesday, with a relatively large amount forecast on Wednesday, afterwards on Saturday rain is predicted. Hopefully the temperature will stay low enough that this rain becomes snow but that freezing line is looking high...

We especially really do want good conditions this weekend as the 2016 Alpine Skiing World Cup event is planned for the weekend. Onegai shimasu!
