After a few days of very warm weather, yesterday evening we had some quite heavy rain, with even snow reported up at the top of Kagura.

This morning things have dried up but it is a cloudy and rather dark day. It is also much cooler than it has been, almost chilly earlier on and a high of around 11 degrees. There are also some fairly strong winds.

Due to the strong winds Kagura is actually closed for the day so no skiing/snowboarding on offer today.

It should be back open tomorrow as strong winds are not forecast - just cloud. Rain and cloud is forecast for Sunday with better weather lined up for early next week.
